How To Use Amazon Posts To Grow Your FBA Business - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In today’s video I would like to go over how to use Amazon posts to build brand awareness & grow your FBA business, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Now, before I hop into this video, if you are new to this channel you're going to want to subscribe as I talk about the best ways to make a full time income with Amazon FBA and always get straight to the point, with that said let's get right into this video.

So, is Amazon Posts the next big social media platform for ecommerce sellers? Well, kind of.  On popular social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, you can use unique branding to promote your entire product line within your profile, so customers can easily discover your brand all in one place. On Amazon, it’s not always that simple.

A customer who purchases one of your products on Amazon may have no idea that you sell other items they may be interested in. Amazon Posts seeks to solve this issue by allowing you as a seller to post social media content to Amazon.

Now, first let me explain what is the Amazon Posts program? Amazon Posts allows brand-registered sellers to share unique lifestyle images and product-related content through a “feed” that looks similar to other social media platforms.

Customers will be able to scroll through your feed and click through directly to your product detail pages. In this way, the program is designed not only to show customers how to use your products, but also to encourage them to browse and discover your brand story.

Posts lets brands seamlessly maintain a consistent brand identity across other social platforms, as a seller you can repurpose your content from Instagram and Facebook posts for your Amazon feed. But as of now, customers can only view Posts while using the Amazon mobile app or while viewing Amazon’s site on a mobile browser.

So, who is eligible for Amazon Posts? Currently, the tool is still in beta and is only available for sellers who are either registered with Amazon’s Brand Registry or Vendors within the US. You also must have an Amazon Store for your brand in order to use Posts.

Now, let’s go over the benefits of Amazon posts. Consumers are increasingly responsive to social media content when shopping online. In fact, 54% of US shoppers say they’ve bought something they first learned about on social media, and 21% start their product searches on Instagram.

Social media’s knack for displaying products in attractive, relatable settings resonates with customers. Posts evoke the look and feel of traditional social channels, while going a step beyond by allowing customers to view the product behind the compelling content in one click. That alone makes using Posts a no-brainer.

Here are some other great benefits of using Amazon posts. First, it’s free to use. Brands can post as little or as much as they want. Unlike Pay Per Click or other types of advertising, there is no associated cost per click.

Second, it drives brand awareness. With Amazon Posts, as a seller you can show off how your products work and share unique content that tells your brand story. This is also a great opportunity to share real-life customer photos and build social proof.

Amazon posts will also increase your product discoverability. As I mentioned before, some customers may not realize the extent of your product line, especially if they’re new to your brand. As a customer scrolls through your listing detail page on the Amazon app, they can discover more about your brand through Posts picturing your other products.

Now, while you can’t choose exactly where your posts end up, there is a chance that they’ll end up on your competitors’ listings. In that case, customers can scroll down the listing detail page to a section called “Related Posts,” where your brand could be featured. Similarly to Sponsored Display Ads, Posts give you the opportunity to draw customers away from your competitors.

Customers can also “follow” your brand. Just like any other social media platform, users will be able to “Follow” your brand on Amazon to stay up-to-date with your content. And as with any other Advertising tool on Amazon, you can measure your content’s performance.

Brands will be able to review metrics tracking impressions, engagement, and engagement rates for each of your Amazon posts.

So where do Amazon Posts appear? Amazon makes the call on where your Posts show up, based on relevance and customer engagement. There are four places where your Posts may be displayed.

First we have the Brand feed. The brand feed is exactly what it sounds like, it’s your brand’s unique feed, where you can post content about your entire product line.

Second there is the Product page carousel. A “carousel” is a series of Posts that appear on a product detail page, which customers can scroll horizontally. Carousels appear on your product detail page and may contain your competitors’ Posts as well.

The third location where your posts could appear is the related brands feed. Clicking on a Post within a product page carousel will bring you to the related brand feed, where customers can discover more of your products, as well as other brands.

The fourth and last place where your posts can show up is the category-based feed. Amazon assigns relevant category tags to individual Posts.

That way, customers can explore content for complementary items within a specific category. For example, customers scrolling through the “Wheel & Tire Accessories” category feed may see Posts about tire traction pads next to RV covers.

Now, let me show you how to set up and use Amazon Posts; As I already mentioned, only brands enrolled in Brand Registry with an active Amazon store are eligible for Amazon Posts. Here’s how you as a seller with these qualifications can get started.

Step 1 is to visit posts.amazon.com and sign in using your existing Amazon account credentials.

Step 2 is to Click on “Get Started.”

Step 3 is to choose the brand you want to promote.

The fourth step is to upload your brand’s logo. This will appear on your Posts as a thumbnail next to your brand’s name, like a profile picture on Instagram or Facebook. Once your upload is complete, choose “Submit and continue.”

The fifth and last step is to create a post; Be sure to upload a lifestyle image of your product, add an engaging caption, and list some ASINs for related products in your product line, that’s how Amazon will figure out which category tags to assign your Post. You can either publish your Post immediately or schedule it for later.

Amazon also provides tips on what makes for an effective Post like this. Amazon says you should aim to inspire customers with attractive, compelling imagery showing your product in action.

Keep your images simple and avoid using collages or overlaid text, buttons or icons. The more crowded or complicated your image is, the more likely it’ll be ignored

Use high-quality and high-resolution images and let your caption tell a story about why your products are valuable and unique. Avoid repeating your product description or using snippets from customer reviews

Now, if you needed another reason to enroll in Brand Registry on Amazon, this is it. While Posts is still in its beta testing phase, it’s a great, not to mention free way to promote your brand and products on Amazon.

Now, before we wrap this up. You probably know by now there are quite a few steps involved in building an Amazon business. And I wouldn't recommend piecing together everything by simply watching videos on YouTube. This is why I suggest investing your time in a great free training that can guide you through this process.

I recommend this training because this is the best training on the market and one that I have personally gone through. They walk you through every aspect of what it takes to start, grow and scale your Amazon business.

5 Best Amazon Repricers For FBA Sellers in 2021 - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In this video I would like to go over the best Amazon repricers on the market & how you could benefit from using one, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Now, before I hop into this video, if you are new to this channel you're going to want to subscribe as I talk about the best ways to make a full time income with Amazon FBA and always get straight to the point, with that said let's get right into this video, .

Now, selling online is almost always going to be price-driven because you will almost always have competitors. You can offer free gifts, you can offer great customer service, free delivery and returns, but it’s essential that you also remain competitive on price, especially on Amazon.

To price competitively on Amazon, you have two options, manual repricing or automated using an Amazon repricer. The choice is yours and will depend on how many products you are selling and how much time you wish to dedicate to this vital area of your online business.

For those sellers choosing to go down the automated path, I have compiled a list of the leading Amazon repricers on the market right now. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling books on Amazon or media, a repricer can save you time and increase your sales.

By using an Amazon repricer, pricing competitively 24/7 is made easy. When deciding on your pricing strategy and how you want to compete, you’ll want to consider fulfilment type, seller feedback and feedback score.

Automating the prices of your Amazon products is the key to increasing sales and profits. It’s a no-brainer if you have more than a handful of products and it will help you stay ahead of your competition.

Now, before I go over the best Amazon repricers let’s have a look at some of the benefits of using an Amazon repricer tool.

First up, you can compete without emotion. You see emotions entering buying and selling all the time, a stock dips and people get worried, so they sell before they think it can drop any lower. But people who approach it without emotion know how to buy low and sell high.

A good Amazon repricer works the same way by making buying and selling an objective, not an emotional process. You might feel angry or frustrated when a competitor undercuts you and ‘steals’ your sale, but a repricer doesn’t care. It uses rules or an algorithm to keep in check with your competitors and safeguard you from potentially risky or dangerous decisions.

Second, you can react right away in real-time. When you manually reprice products, your reaction time is too slow. And what about if you’re on a much-needed vacation? Do you really want to interrupt your time on the beach to pull out your computer and reprice items? You can skip all that with a repricer and let it do the work for you, in real-time.

The third benefit is you can reprice as often as necessary; Prices change really fast on Amazon, sometimes as quickly as several times an hour. If you had to dedicate man-hours to meet that need, you’d critically neglect other areas of your business and everything would suffer overall as a result.

But with a repricer, you can focus your attention elsewhere and let the rules or algorithm do it for you and rest easy knowing you haven’t missed a single price fluctuation.

Another benefit is, you can make more money because of less money spent on labour. Whatever your ratio of labour hours to revenue is, you want to try and minimize the amount spent on repricing as much as possible. Simply put, it’s a huge waste of time, labour, and money to manually reprice dozens or hundreds of products when a piece of software can do it for you.

You can also minimize your margin of error. The neat thing about software is it does exactly what you tell it to, nothing more and nothing less. It won’t slip up because it stayed up too late the night before, its mind won’t wander because it’s hungry, and it won’t ‘not see’ its work because of an argument with its spouse.

But a person could, and it’s almost a given that they will. There’s a chance you could put a wizard of a human in charge of repricing and be fairly certain they won’t make a mistake, but the odds are even greater when you put a repricer to the task.

With an Amazon repricer you can automatically take multiple factors into account. Quick, think of every factor you need to make the smartest repricing choice right now. Stuck? It can be tough to think outside the box when you’re put on the spot, but a repricer won’t face the same challenges. It’ll take all the factors it needs to into account, and apply them when needed.

The last benefit I want to mention is, you can adapt to all your competitors. Like any good seller, you’ve done your research on who your competitors are. But can you keep track of how each product applies to each seller, and vice versa?

In doing so, are you possibly omitting products or sellers that closely match you without being right on the button? A repricer won’t do that, as it can use advanced similarity matching to give you even more of an edge.

Now, when you are ready to start using an Amazon repricer there are a few things to consider when choosing the right one for your business.

What marketplaces does the repricer work on? How much does it cost each month?

Are you tied to a long-term contract? How quickly are your listings repriced?

Do you have to pay extra for continuous repricing?

Will you pay commission on your sales to your repricing software provider?

What flexibility and control does the repricer offer? Can you choose who you want to compete with and how?

So, with all that in mind, let’s have a look at some of the leading Amazon repricers on the market right now.

The first one up is RepricerExpress. Founded in 2001, RepricerExpress aims to help you increase your Amazon and eBay sales with advanced repricing. Its quick repricing allows sellers to take higher positions in the “Offer Listings” pages, improving product visibility. FBA and Featured Sellers can also snag spots in the buy box and the “more buying choices box” with RepricerExpress.

RepricerExpress does exactly what it says, continuous and instant repricing based on the strategies you have chosen. It also has great features including a seemingly easy interface. Signing up is quick and easy. You can create an account in 60 seconds and complete the setup within 15 minutes.

RepricerExpress also has a killer support team, including quick ticket turnaround times. And they also provide plenty of educational resources that might be helpful to you as an Amazon seller.

Now, the features may be just right, but at $50 per month for 2500 listings it can be a bit pricey, especially if there are more affordable amazon repricing tools in the market with similar features.

Although RepricerExpress may be a good fit for those who are new to Amazon automated repricing, it is not as customizable for experienced users who are accustomed to more advanced settings.

The next one up is Repricer.com. When you use Repricer.com, you get almost instant repricing. The software adapts almost immediately to the changes that your competitor makes. What most can appreciate is that you can actually book a demo and see how things work, and see if it is indeed as fast as it claims. Some of its features even allow you to see which competitor is beating you to the buy box.

The price for the repricer starts at $79 a month for 2500 products. However, you can get better value for your money if you go for the next option which is the $249 a month for 50000 products. If you have items that are around that number and only need just the essential features, then you might find the $249 a month more affordable compared to other repricing software for the same amount of listings.

Now, you’ll immediately see that the software is a bit hard to navigate. If it’s your first time using this software, it can take some getting used to. The more you use it, the more you will learn where to find features and operate specific functions. It is also cloud-based so you might have some glitches and loading issues sporadically.

Number 3 on my list is Feedvisor. This is a company that provides different solutions for both brands and sellers. They offer a number of services including strategy and intelligence as well as managed services. As for its automated repricing software, it is AI-based and is continually optimizing prices based on your unique catalog.

Feedvisor has plenty of features that can help you succeed, including multi-channel pricing and even liquidation pricing. Once you get a subscription, you’ll be able to see the performance dashboard as well as get insights with your inventory replenishment. It’s important to take note that the features you will have access to will be dependent on the type of subscription you get.

Feedvisor may be more suited to already established businesses or brands that are on Amazon. It does have Professional and Premium subscription types, but the features that it has may be more suited for an Enterprise.

When you visit the prices page, you’ll also notice that the prices have not been posted. This leaves you with inquiring back and forth about how much the cost is, or you can simply request for a demo.

Moving on to the next repricer I want to cover which is BQool. BQool is a company that provides solutions to Amazon sellers. They have three different products, namely BigCentral, BigTracker Extension, and their repricing software which is called Repricing Central.

BQool’s Repricing Central helps with getting the buy box and close estimates on profit margins and product ROI. You can select competitors by ID to either include or exclude them from the competition.

It’s always good to check on your competition, especially when you are an Amazon seller. BQool allows you to do this by using the auto-compete feature. You can choose from FBA, FBM, or even Amazon.

The pricing is based on the number of listings you have. Of course, the more listings, the higher the price. But what’s great is that BQool can hold up to 10000+ items. It also currently supports 9 marketplaces such as the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan and Mexico.

As mentioned, the price for each subscription will depend on the number of listings you have. If you reach 10,000 or more, you’ll have access to all of the features of BQool’s Repricing Central software. If you have fewer listings, you won’t be able to download reports or have access to Bulk ROI Settings.

Also, if you’re not in the $100 a month bracket , the repricing speed you get will be significantly slower. At $100 per month, your products will be repriced within 5 minutes. For lesser plans, on the other hand, listings will be repriced within 15 minutes.

Now, the last one on my list is Informed, formerly known as Appeagle, Informed is a competitive repricing platform that uses smart algorithms and actionable insights. They offer two algorithm strategies that you can choose from as a base to win the buy box and increase sales velocity.

You also have the ability to duplicate or create multiple strategies, among other things. Their algorithms are effective and their software is really simple to use.

Informed is perhaps one of the easiest and most effective repricing software to use. Its set-up was designed to be friendly, even for beginners. Even if you get stuck with something or have a question about a particular setting or strategy, the support that Informed gives is top-notch.

You can set different rules for FBA and Merchant Fulfillment, and you can even make your own rules if needed. And because there is a feature for performance analytics, you can see how your repricing strategies are doing at all times.

It’s hard to find cons when dissecting Informed. Perhaps they could expand the amount of items that can be viewed on a single page, as there are only 100 items on one page. But that is really only applicable for sellers who are selling thousands of products at once. Plans may also come off a bit expensive, but their dominant algorithms increase sales so much that the return could be incredible.

For those who are new to using repricing software for Amazon, it’s important to know that each one has specific features that can be more useful to your business. It’s a good idea for you to try out the software first by doing the trial period to see what works and what doesn’t. Ultimately, you should know your business and unique needs well enough to choose the best one.

I hope I’ve given you a good guide to help you choose the right Amazon repricer for your business. Whenever an Amazon repricer is used correctly, you’re highly likely to win the Buy Box more often as well as increased sales and profits. It really is an essential tool for most serious Amazon sellers.

Amazon Account Suspended - What's Next? - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In this video I would like to go over what to do if your Amazon account gets suspended, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Now, before I hop into this video, if you are new to this channel you're going to want to subscribe as I talk about the best ways to make a full time income with Amazon FBA and always get straight to the point, with that said let's get right into this video.

Now, with 2 billion monthly site visitors, Amazon strictly regulates sellers to preserve the high quality of its marketplace. And most sellers have no problem following these policies since they’re eager to access Amazon’s 2 billion site visitors shopping for products each month.

Having said that, Amazon’s rules are quite strict. Even the best of sellers have had their accounts suspended. Luckily, suspension is not the end of the world. Sellers can have their privileges restored by submitting an appeal.

For a successful appeal, you will have to show Amazon that you clearly understand why you were suspended, and that you have a plan for resolving the issue and improving their selling practices.

For many sellers, an Amazon suspension is a major risk to their income and reputation and the whole experience can be very stressful. If you’ve just got a suspension, take a deep breath and let me guide you through the process of getting your seller account reinstated.

Every day hundreds of honest third-party sellers get suspended, denied or banned by Amazon. So what’s the difference? Suspension means you still have a chance to appeal. You’ll need to work on a plan of action. Denied means your appeal was rejected but you still have a chance to submit a revised plan of action.

Banned is the worst scenario of the three. Basically, you’re out. Your appeal has failed more than once, and Amazon will no longer read your emails. You might think, well, I’ll just open another account. But not so fast, you’ll also be informed that it’s against Amazon’s terms and conditions for you to open another seller account.

Sellers who’ve been suspended often get frustrated with the fact they can’t pick up the phone and speak to someone to resolve the issue. Every minute a seller is suspended, they’re losing money! In some instances, it can take weeks or months for sellers to get reinstated.

Now, Amazon selling privileges are removed for three reasons. Amazon feels your performance is taking a dive. They want to operate a competitive marketplace that values good customer service.

As a seller on Amazon you can be suspended for failing to meet Amazon’s performance targets, which are measured with 3 metrics.

First, we have the order defect rate. This metric indicates the percentage of a seller’s orders that have received negative feedback, an A-to-Z Guarantee claim, or a service credit card chargeback. Amazon recommends that sellers maintain an order defect rate that’s less than 1% to avoid suspension.

Second, we have the pre-fulfillment cancellation rate: This metric indicates the number of order cancellations initiated by the seller before the shipment is confirmed divided by the total number of orders in that time period of interest. High pre-fulfillment cancellation rates are often a result of poor inventory management.

Amazon recommends that sellers maintain a pre-fulfillment cancellation rate that’s less than 2.5% to avoid suspension.

And third is late shipment rate. This metric indicates the number of orders that are confirmed for shipment after the ship date divided by the total number of orders in that time period of interest. A high number of late shipment rates often lead to customer dissatisfaction since shipments that aren’t confirmed by their ship date can’t be tracked.

Amazon recommends that sellers maintain a late shipment rate that’s less than 4%.

Second reason your selling privileges are removed is if you’ve violated Amazon’s policies. Remember it’s Amazon’s house and you have to abide by their rules. Amazon believes in maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for buyers with clear rules, so the company will suspend sellers if you violate any of their five community rules which are:

Honor your commitment to buy or sell. Maintain current account information. Do not open a new selling account if your selling privileges have been removed. Leave thoughtful feedback about your transaction partners. And do not misrepresent yourself.

Amazon keeps these guidelines broad to encompass a lot of situations sellers could encounter. Some of these rules are pretty obvious though, such as not faking your identity or selling counterfeit goods, and should be easy for most sellers to follow.

The third reason you can get suspended is if you are selling a restricted product. Rather than one set of product rules, Amazon has specific product restrictions for each of their product categories.

Supplying restricted products is grounds for account suspension, so as a seller you must check the restricted product pages to make sure that your supply is appropriate and whether your product categories require additional action, like getting pre-approval from Amazon.

Now, you can find out exactly why your account has been suspended by checking your Performance Notifications within Seller Central. A suspended seller will also receive a notification titled “Your Amazon.com selling privileges have been removed” with a list of ASINs that Amazon believe have violated their policies.

Performance-related suspension notifications will start off like this: “We have removed your Amazon selling privileges because of buyer complaints about the condition or description of items they received from you.” Sellers are then expected to create a Plan of Action based on the information contained in the notification.

So, how do you prevent your selling privileges being removed. First, ask Amazon to put an annotation on your account to state that the ASIN wasn’t counterfeit. You should check your Amazon reports on a regular basis.

Keep a close eye on your Returns, Imperfect Order and Negative Feedback reports to see what your customers are saying about you. Also, keep an eye on A to Z claims and your messaging.

Pay attention to shipping, ensuring you ship on-time and your goods are properly packaged. Lost or late deliveries can hurt your account and Buy Box percentage.

Amazon increasingly values customers. Check your shipping, returns and refund policies to help maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels.

Second, download the Amazon Seller App to help you respond to messages quicker. Pay attention to listings. Ensure you label new products as “new” and used products as “used”. Examine your items carefully to confirm you choose the correct condition category. If you’re selling used items, check closely to ensure there are no missing parts.

Third, read your listings to check for any potential flags. Don’t sell generic products as private label. If you’re selling private label, tell your customers and Amazon what makes your product different to similar products on the marketplace. Talking about product descriptions. Make sure yours are both accurate and honest.

Fourth, FBA sellers should close and archive old listings. Merchant Fulfilled sellers should delete them. Switch to FBA or at least consider switching any problematic ASINs to FBA. This will also help you deal with ecommerce fraud.

Returns and refunds are part of the selling game. The buyer has the power on Amazon, so for an easy life, sometimes it’s better to just accept the return or issue the refund even if it means you’re out of pocket.

Look at the bigger picture and don’t let a few customers damage your seller feedback rating. And if you do issue a refund, why not ask for positive feedback in return.

Be wary when buying cheap goods from liquidators, eBay or AliExpress to sell on Amazon. In some cases, this could lead to an increased number of counterfeit claims, and Amazon doesn’t take kindly to sellers who receive too many of these.

Fifth, don’t sell counterfeit goods. Simply put, don’t sell goods that are counterfeit. It’s not worth the risk even if you make a quick buck at the start.

Now, if Amazon still suspends your account despite your best efforts, conduct a thorough investigation across all of your account, paying close attention to any ASINs with previous policy warnings.

You need to read over the suspension notice carefully to identify which rules you violated referring to Amazon’s policies and agreements page and checking your Seller Central performance metrics. If you require more information on your suspension and still have access to Support, consider opening a ticket to clarify.

In your appeal, identify the reasons for your suspension. Take responsibility and acknowledge the harm done to the customer. Tell Amazon you are committed to providing awesome customer service and you realize it is a privilege to sell on their site, and don’t criticize Amazon’s product quality process.

Now, to increase your chances of a successful appeal, your Plan of Action should be thorough and based on your internal account findings. This is a really important part of your appeal. Remember, if the investigators ask for more information, your appeal will be delayed, and time is money.

Your Plan of Action should identify the reasons that buyers complained about the quality of your products and contain solutions as to why it won’t happen again.

For example, if you’re a seller who has been suspended for shipping reasons, you may wish to include that you’re moving to FBA to solve the issue.

Once you’re ready to submit your appeal, visit the Performance Notification section within Seller Central, find your suspension notice and click the “Appeal” button then submit your Plan of Action.

Now, let me give you a few tips to create an effective plan of action. Your Plan of Action requires some time and thought so don’t send an immediate response by clicking the “Appeal” button. Instead, layout an actual case that motivates Amazon to reinstate your account. Think things through before replying.

So tip number 1 is to stay professional and don’t offer commentary about Amazon processes, the slowness of their teams, or telling them how disappointed and heartbroken you are to have lost the account.

The second tip is to keep it simple and give them facts. Focus on policy matters not performance metrics. Also to use bullets or numbers instead of paragraphs to communicate your understanding of what went wrong along with the steps you’ve taken to correct it.

Another tip is to include a short introductory paragraph that quickly shows the reader your overall grasp of what happened and how you already resolved it. Don’t include extraneous information or commentary regarding the account review process or Amazon. Focus on specific information related to your fixes.

Tip number 6 is to don’t blame buyers if you’ve received policy warnings. Assume that there must be a legitimate reason behind the complaints and work your way backwards. The last tip is to ensure that the Plan of Action has all elements that led to the suspension addressed specifically.

Also, don’t send multiple letters after submitting the first appeal. After you submit your first appeal, you should wait up to a week before submitting any additional letters. The days of “12 to 24 hour” response times are long gone due to the volume of appeals that Seller Performance receives on a daily basis.

Also, it’s common for Seller Performance to not send confirmation that the appeal was received. This can make you nervous and worry that they haven’t received your appeal or maybe are ignoring it.

I know it’s tough, but refrain from sending multiple appeals with different information in order to try to get a reply from Seller Performance. If you know you followed instructions, trust that Seller Performance has received the appeal and will reply once they’ve reviewed it.

Now, if you’re suspended and you submit an effective Plan of Action and you get reinstated, learn from the experience and take measures to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Maintaining Amazon’s high standards and playing by the rules will let you continue selling on the marketplace and create positive customer experiences that benefit everyone.

Best Selling Products on Amazon in 2021 - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In today’s video I would like to go over the best-selling products on Amazon in 2021, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Now, before I hop into this video, if you are new to this channel you're going to want to subscribe as I talk about the best ways to make a full time income with Amazon FBA and always get straight to the point, with that said let's get right into this video.

With more than 12 million products live, Amazon is the world’s largest online retail store which sells almost everything. Have you ever wondered that among a pool of so many products, which are the best selling items on Amazon in 2021.

According to a report by eMarketer, Amazon has successfully captured 49% of the entire eCommerce marketplace of the US pushing down competitors like eBay and Walmart.

With the evolution of the eCommerce industry, the product categories are also increasing like wildfire. Among these, it becomes a challenge to search for a perfect product category to sell on Amazon. So the challenge here is to choose a niche and products that fit the market and reach out to big audiences.

Now, if you take a look at the list of the best-selling products on Amazon, you’ll notice that in their block “Amazon Best Sellers” they write, “Our most popular products based on sales, updated hourly”.

This means if you want to come up with a long-term strategy on what to sell in a month or even a year, these lists of top sellers is not the most solid and practical method to rely on.

In one hour from now goods from one category can be sold in huge amounts, and at the same time in a week from today it could be a completely different category! Meaning, if you want to plan your long-term sales, you need to follow the trends and collect data on statistics yourself.

Pinpointing top selling products is more complicated than simply looking at Amazon’s best seller list. It’s just the first step and a way to gather ideas. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to find all the relevant information there.

The fact is that you need a more scientific approach. You need to know the stats behind each product before you decide to invest. What are its average monthly sales? How many other people are selling it? What is its average price, average reviews or sales history? What kind of sales margins can you expect? Are its sales trending up or down?

So what I did was, I used a third party product research tool that can show you this information, called Jungle Scout. And I left a link for you in the description if you want to check it out.

I’ve also been watching the top products and categories on Amazon throughout the year, I’ve been communicating with the inveterate sellers who are logged in Amazon 24/7 and this way I’ve come up with a list of best-selling product categories on Amazon in 2021. So let’s get started with the first product category on my list which is clothing, shoes & jewelry

In 2019, global retail sales of apparel and footwear reached 1.9 trillion U.S. dollars, and were expected to rise to above three trillion US dollars by 2030.

Most of the sellers choose to sell clothing, shoes, and jewelry on Amazon. This product category also has different subcategories. Clothing can be vintage, handmade, resale, and so on.

This type of product is always in demand, but at the same time very competitive. As a seller you should also monitor seasonal specific sales, as well as trends. For instance, if you are selling sunglasses or t-shirts, you should be aware of the season, as sunglasses sell better close to summer.

Some of the most popular items sold in the clothing, shoes & jewelry category are underwear, dresses, accessories, athletic wear, casual tops & bottoms and shoes.

In recent years, Amazon has kept its focus on capturing the maximum share of the clothing category. Amazon increased its web apparel sales by 22.6% which is faster than the 250 top online apparel-focused merchants, which collectively grew 13.7%.

Now you must be wondering, which are the top selling products under this category? Well, the answer to your question is athletic wear. As per the Intelligence node, In the past 2 years, Active wear sales accounted for $33.7 billion, which makes up to 16 percent of the total apparel market. The most popular athletic wears are yoga pants, fleece sweatshirts and socks

The next product within this category is Crocs, Comfy footwear for home is what every human desire and there’s nothing more comfy than Crocs. Crocs are the undisputed first-choice footwear for shoppers on Amazon. I mean I don’t even have to explain why. So a seller can easily notch up their customer’s interest towards their products by throwing a few crocs in their catalog.

Another product that makes up the list of top selling products in the clothing category is innerwear. Customers prefer buying innerwear in bulk, so selling a combo pack is more profitable than to sell singles.

The next most popular product category I want to cover is toys & games. Not only toys are bought for kids. Women adore toys, animals love toys, a lot of us love toys.

No surprise that kids are one of the most excessive categories of market consumers. And this product category constantly reaches top sales on Amazon. The trend on movies and Disney obsession and movie-themed educational and generic games tend to place these products in high demand for parents.

The most popular products under this category are memory games, multicolored toys, card games, wooden play sets, outdoor kits, Lego blocks, table games & puzzles.

Sellers can use this list to analyze the types of toys and games popular with children and their families. Currently, Steam toys are the most popular, including science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. This year, there is a high demand for water toys.

The next product category I found to be popular is books. Over 850 million books are purchased in the United States each year. According to Nielson, a global information, data, and measurement company, 47% of the American population purchases books. If you do the math, 151 million people bought these books.

As per The Book Seller, Amazon controls more than 50% of the entire book sales throughout the US, and 83% of all the e-book sales. Amazon marketplace made its name by selling books and even today there are no marketplaces that sell a more wide range of books online. Last year more than 675 million books were sold on Amazon. So for a seller dealing in books, Amazon provides you with an ample opportunity to sell.

The best-selling books this year are fictional books, suspense and thriller books, biographies and memoirs, comics, cookbooks, diet books, and recipe books and of course children’s books.

So let’s move on to the next popular category which is electronic accessories & gadgets. Some people just love to buy the latest gadget as soon as it is invented. Electronics & Accessories is an evergreen product category on Amazon. Sellers selling under this category can never feel empty-handed as this product category is sold throughout the year.

Talking about the future scope, Zion Market Research shows that the Global Consumer Electronics Market Will Reach USD 1,787 Billion by 2024. In fact, the Electronics and Accessories category comprises 10.8% of the total sales on Amazon’s marketplace

The best-selling products under this category include smart devices, headphones, Bluetooth devices, memory cards, USB devices, TV & Video and Audio & Home Theater. Some other popular products that fall under this category are computers, camera & photo, wearable technology, office electronics, musical Instruments and Amazon Devices.

Now, don’t forget most states have e-waste laws that protect the environment and local communities. Therefore, manufacturers or sellers on Amazon are responsible for the registration of their electronics in a state before it is legally sold to any customers in this particular area, that is, even if you are in California, if you sell a product to someone in New York City, you will have to register your item also for New York.

There are also some branding restrictions, as a number of electronics companies such as Apple and Sony control their brand. They set the limits for all who sell their products, unless authorized.

Amazon also has specific restrictions on electronics. On the Internet there are a lot of electronic duplicates. But Amazon has taken every step to prevent these from being sold on their site, to ensure that all of their sellers and products are legitimate.

So, the last product category I want to cover is beauty and personal care. The Global Beauty and Personal Care product market is expected to reach USD 756.63 Billion by 2026. Cosmetics and beauty products are in high demand.

Products that go well under this category are branded cosmetics or beauty products, cosmetics with natural ingredients and cosmetic tools and accessories. To sell better in this category. Beauty items should be of good quality, in the original packaging of the manufacturer. Also ensure the products are correctly described and labelled, and while talking about health, your items must show trust.

Top-selling products on Amazon change regularly and there’s no fool-proof recipe for getting it right every time. However, the criteria for deciding what to sell on the platform remain the same.

Offering products of value is more important than ever. So offer unique, budget-friendly products with minimal competition to truly succeed on Amazon.

Now, before we wrap this up. As you can see, there are a lot of steps involved in picking the right products to sell on Amazon.

Now, creating new and innovative products is tough. And it is even tougher to sell them and turn a profit. E-commerce and sites like Amazon have made accessing the consumer easier than ever, but there is a catch.

While selling online is an open opportunity for small brands and creators, it has also created a highly competitive environment where it is tough to get the attention of prospective buyers.

Now, Amazon recognized how tough it can be for new brands and products to gain traction and decided to do something to help. That is where Amazon Launchpad comes in.

As the name would suggest, it is designed to ‘launch’ new products. Launchpad exclusively works with products that have come to prominence through crowdfunding campaigns, or are the product of accelerators and incubators.

This is an opportunity to potentially reach millions of customers, but before diving in head first you should fully understand how Amazon Launchpad works.

Crowdfunded products in particular begin with a bang and get a lot of attention in the beginning, but this tapers off fast once the first products are delivered. For one of these niche products to survive long term, they need sustainable sales through platforms like Amazon.

Achieving this is not an easy feat and great innovators are often not great marketers! That is why Launchpad is so important.

Once you get approval to join Launchpad, you are given access to dedicated help with marketing from the Launchpad team, a massive marketing launch package and a wealth of education and training materials.

Basically, Launchpad is a dedicated team from Amazon who will provide you with all the marketing services, help and advice you need to get your new product flying off the shelves.

So, let’s get into the nitty gritty details of exactly what Launchpad has to offer. The benefits of Launchpad are almost too numerous to list, but I will go over the main ones here and explain how they can help you launch your product with a bang.

First, there is the onboarding support; Actually getting your product onto Amazon in the first place can be tough, especially for first timers.

The Launchpad onboarding team helps get your products listed and in the Amazon warehouse ready to be sent to customers. By the end of onboarding, your products will be in the Amazon FBA and Amazon Prime programs.

This ensures that once the real marketing push begins the customer experience will be positive, with rapid fulfillment.

Next, there is the Amazon Launchpad Brand HQ. If something sounds unfamiliar, then while you are waiting for the onboarding process to be completed, you need to check out the Brand HQ.

This is an online learning portal with courses, customized consultation services and webinars designed to teach you the ins and outs of marketing and selling products online.

They also offer growth support, In-person Brand Cafes, partnerships both on and off Amazon and Launchpad updates and announcements.

The value of these educational materials cannot be understated. If you can take advantage of the help and knowledge on offer, you will be an Amazon marketing whizz in no time.

Once you have used the knowledge on offer to develop your products listing to the required standard, you are moved into the next and most exciting phase which is the launch marketing phase.

When your product listings are fully developed, Amazon is ready to ‘launch’ your product with the following promotional opportunities.

Placement on the Amazon Launchpad homepage in the ‘New Releases’ section and placement on your relevant Launchpad category homepage.

Your product will be linked in email communications with Amazon shoppers. You also get potential placement in Amazon corporate events, such as Prime Day and holiday specific sales.

You will also have the opportunity to be featured in offline events and to work with other Amazon teams as necessary. Brand products will also be featured in the Amazon Launchpad storefront, which offers access to Amazon's global customer base.

It is hard to understate the value of these placements. For regular products listed on Amazon, it can take months of effort to rank number one on a product page and being featured is almost like winning the lottery.

The aim of the entire program is to give you the knowledge to succeed, while also accelerating the usual process by pushing your product out there as much as possible.

The typical product stays in the Launchpad program for about a year and by the end they have solid, sustainable sales. But, how exactly do you qualify in the first place?

The first thing to understand is that Launchpad is not for everyone. This is only for new products and brands. Resellers of existing products don’t qualify.

To ensure only qualifying sellers are enrolled, there is an application process and it can take up to 7 days for a decision to be made. Once you are in, you must work towards meeting the following criteria, or else you will risk being kicked out.

You need to maintain a 3.5 star rating. Have at least 5 reviews and enroll in Amazon FBA and Prime. You will also need sufficient inventory to last at least 4 weeks and a complete product detail page with spelling and grammar checked, a descriptive title that clearly and succinctly describes the product and a main image on a pure white background with no text, logos or watermarks.

These criteria are put in place to help create the best possible shopper experience. More importantly, they put startups in the best position to be successful on Amazon and take full advantage of Launchpad’s marketing benefits.

Now, with all the benefits of Launchpad, you would think there would be a high price tag, but you will be pleasantly surprised. You can join Launchpad for free if you are already signed up as an Amazon vendor.

If you only have a seller account, then you will have to pay the very reasonable fee of $39.99 a month. There is no better value marketing package for a new product on the internet!

As mentioned, signing up is a process that takes up to 7 days, simply due to the manual review of new products. You can begin the process by heading over to the Amazon Launchpad signup page.

If you are trying to launch a new product, getting into the Launchpad program should be a top priority.

You will get knowledge and help that money can’t buy. By the end of the process, you will have a successfully launched product and the knowledge to replicate the process for yourself.

Now, while all of these benefits sound great, there are two important caveats I want to address. One, Amazon has made it very clear that none of the marketing resources mentioned are guaranteed to any Launchpad seller.

The platform has complete discretion to choose what products it wants to highlight, and where and when. At the end of the day, Amazon reserves Launchpad real estate for products that are already performing well and that the platform can help boost into orbit.

This brings us to caveat two, despite the misleading name, Launchpad isn’t there to launch your product for you. Amazon wants new, unique and interesting products, with proven demand, that it can help take to the next level, not businesses it has to build from the ground up.

This means that you cannot rely solely on Launchpad marketing tools to propel your business. You must conduct your own marketing efforts, such as driving traffic on and off Amazon, using social media and optimizing your product page, to be truly successful and remain eligible for Launchpad.

Now, before we wrap this up. As you can see, there are a lot of steps involved in building an Amazon business.

This training will build off of what I talk about inside my videos so I left a link for you in the description and if you're serious about selling on Amazon I encourage you to check it out!

4 Best Amazon Feedback & Autoresponder Software Tools in 2021 - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In this video I would like to go over the 4 best Amazon feedback and autoresponder software tools, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Now, before I hop into this video, if you are new to this channel you're going to want to subscribe as I talk about the best ways to make a full time income with Amazon FBA and always get straight to the point, with that said let's get right into this video.

Now, as a seller on Amazon, it can be all too easy to simply rely on the systems within your sellers account to interact with your customers. And while this can provide a minimum level of customer support, it is becoming increasingly common to use third party services to differentiate your service from the thousands of other Amazon stores.

The importance of reviews can really not be understated. Research has shown that 70% of shoppers see reviews as an ‘important’ factor when choosing a product and in particular, consumers see positive reviews as an indication of quality. The power of a review is clear. The real challenge is getting authentic reviews from your customers.

Software solutions that automate customer service responses and feedback requests are increasingly popular for this reason. Not only do these services increase the level of customer satisfaction, they can also lead to increased positive feedback on your listings, boosting you up the rankings significantly.

With just a few small changes to your processes, you can greatly increase the number of views you receive and also improve you products ratings.

So let’s get started with the first Amazon feedback tool which is Jungle Scout Launch.

Jungle Scout Launch, previously known as Jump Send is a well- known player in the email automation and customer engagement space.

The Jungle Scout suite is one of the most well- known and popular Amazon seller tools, which makes Launch the go to automation tool for many sellers, as they are already well embedded in the Jungle Scout suite of seller tools.

Different to other Amazon review software, Launch runs its own marketplace where sellers can offer discounts in return for reviews, helping to boost your listings quickly and reliably.

The pros of Jungle Scout launch are. It’s part of a well- established suite of Amazon seller tools, keeping all of your tasks in one place. Easy to ‘farm’ reviews and increase listing rank.

It has a solid user interface and great customer support ensure a good user experience. It’s available across 8 of the most popular marketplaces. And it’s also easy to set up email funnels and customizable email templates.

Of course there are also a few cons such as. You have to buy into the whole Jungle Scout ecosystem to make the best use of your subscription.

Little control over customer contact details does not allow you to build an email list in the traditional sense. There is also no free trial, just a 14 day money back guarantee.

What pricing is concerned Launch is an add-on to the wider Jungle Scout suite and the pricing is determined on a sliding scale, which increases based on the 30 day order count from you Amazon account.

This is an attempt to move away from pricing tiers with inclusions and exclusions. Instead, you get full functionality at each level but pay more based on how much you actually use the software which is a nice change. The scale is as follows based on total orders. Up to 500 orders you will pay $49 a month all the way up to $399 if you do more than 10000 orders.

As you can see, even the cheapest plan is not so cheap, but you have to bear in mind that this also combines coupon distribution with email automation, which could easily cost you 20 to $30 a month on its own.

My overall impression is that Jungle Scout Launch is much more than your average autoresponder and feedback manager, but it does come with a price tag to match.

If you are already in deep with Jungle Scout software this is a no brainer. Also, if you need to also distribute coupons, then Launch can also be good value.

However, if you are just wanting to try out email campaigns for the first time, a piece of software with a lower monthly cost may be a better choice, at least to begin with. Now, I left a link for you in the description if you want to check it out.

The next one up is Feedback Five. Feedback Five is a relatively popular piece of feedback software that ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to engaging with your Amazon customers.

It allows you to create new email campaigns and set email templates like other software in the category, while also allowing you to easily track the progress of your Amazon orders and keep an eye on your Amazon reviews. This gives the platform far more utility to Amazon sellers when compared to generic email campaign software.

Here are some of the pros of this software.

It comes with a generous free option, which allows you to trial the software before committing to a paid plan. All plans allow for multiple users, making delegation easy.

All paid plans allow unlimited campaigns. And it has alerts for negative reviews and analytics that can be used to analyze trends.

The downsides of Feedback Five is that there have been very few changes to the software over the years. It works, but it certainly isn’t groundbreaking.

Additional features such as adding new stores or adding extra emails can get costly. And it comes with a dated user interface that does not do the software any justice, combined with unresponsive customer support.

As mentioned, Feedback Five has a generous free tier which gives you two campaigns and 50 emails a month as basically a fully functional, minus the analytics, free trial.

Realistically though, 50 emails won’t get you far and if you are serious, you will quickly graduate to the paid plans, which are at $9.99, $29.99 and $59.99 price points, although the sky’s the limit if you need to add more than 1500 emails.

You only start to get analytics at the $29.99 plan, which are arguably one of the main reasons to choose this software, yet the 1500 emails a month could still be a bit light for real power sellers, meaning a lot of users will need the more expensive plans.

Overall I think Feedback Five works well and does what it says on the box, but the lack of updates and a poor user interface are really making the software show its age.

While the free option is a great trial, once you start sending out bulk emails, it is no longer of great value. This software can be a great starting point for beginners to learn, but you will soon want to try some of the newer, flashier options

Number 3 on my list is FeedbackWhiz, this is a real one stop shop for managing your Amazon reviews and is one of the best pieces of review software out there.

This software package allows you to manage your orders and receive alerts at critical times, allowing you to respond to customer concerns at critical times to avoid bad feedback. The feedback tools and email automation allows you to increase positive responses by choosing the best time to ask for reviews.

All of your communications can also be automated and the success of your strategies tracked and refined using detailed analytics and A/B testing.

FeedbackWhiz comes with a great free plan that gives you access to all features and 150 emails. It also has a clean and easy to use user interface with A/B testing functionality.

The analytics are easy to read, presented as graphs that give you all the info you need at a glance.

It comes with a drag and drop email creator, which lets you create professional looking emails with a minimum of fuss. And super responsive support and customer care.

Some users may find the preset email templates a bit limited, but most people use their own anyway. Having separate plans for email automation and product monitoring can also be seen as a downside.

The free plan is of great value, offering 150 emails and access to all the features of the software, but it is basically a lead magnet for the paid plans, as you will quickly need more emails once you start to use the software effectively.

The other price points for email automation are: $19.99, $39.99, $79.99 and $139.99. At each level you get more campaigns and emails, with the top two plans being unlimited. The biggest difference is that the top plan is the only one to give unlimited marketplaces, with all others only offering one, with the option to pay for more.

Each plan also supposedly offers increased expedited support, with the promise of a dedicated account manager for the premium plan, which if true could be of great value.

Once you get past the email automation plans it gets complicated. To access the review monitoring functionality, you have to pay a monthly add on based on the number of tracked ASINs. This starts at $5 to track 5 products, up to $200 to track 5000.

There are a lot of positives to this software and almost no negatives, making it a great choice for beginner and pro Amazon sellers. Even the lower level plans offer a lot of emails and full functionality, meaning you can get a premium service at a budget price.

The functions of the software are honestly not groundbreaking, but the user experience, clear analytics and strong seller support make FeedbackWhizz a real pleasure to use.

I would really like to see the review tracker price integrated into the pro level plans though, as running two different pricing structures is just needlessly complex.

The fourth and last software tool I want to cover is Feedback Express. Feedback Express is a really polished option for cloud based feedback and communications automation. Created specifically for Amazon FBA sellers, it is designed to help streamline the process of sending out communications at crucial stages in the buying process.

It links in with Amazon API seamlessly to give you real time alerts as a buyer moves through the purchasing process, or when reviews have been received, giving you the opportunity to react fast to any problems.

It comes with a great, easy to read dashboard that puts the crucial information front and center.

Th email templates can be automatically populated with product images and descriptions, giving a professional look with little effort. And all plans include unlimited marketplaces as standard and a 30 day free trial with all features.

The company is based in the UK and billed in pounds, which can make it pricier than other options and introduces exposure to currency fluctuations for long term users. And it has no free plan, only a free trial.

As mentioned, there is a very generous free trial for this software. The paid options start with a £39 plan or £35 if paid annually, up to £177 per month for the premium option.

At all price points, unlimited marketplaces are included, which puts this software among the best for those selling in multiple marketplaces. The only major difference between the plans is the number of included emails, with the $35 plan giving 5000 emails a month.

In my opinion Feedback Express is a real leading choice for those looking to work across multiple marketplaces. Although it is not billed in US Dollars, this shouldn’t be a big issue for those selling internationally anyway.

The whole platform is quite polished and easy to use, making the process of setting up your email campaigns and alerts effortless. One of the biggest pluses in my opinion is the free trial, rather than free plan.

And because the free trial is for a limited time, they have been able to include a real, usable number of emails to help you properly evaluate the software and make an informed decision.

Now, getting your products into the ‘buy box’ is more important than ever with the high level of competition between FBA sellers.

Every day, customer expectations surrounding communications and general service are increasing and if you make no effort in this space, you will begin to get lower reviews compared to the competition. Given the importance customers place on reviews when making a purchase, low reviews can cost you a lot of money.

Compared to the potential downsides and benefits, the price of quality feedback and auto response software is really a drop in the ocean. The great thing is, that after a brief learning curve during the setup process, this kind of software tends to work along in the background with minimum intervention.

With all of the generous free basic accounts and free trials available, there is no reason not to try out one of the leading autoresponders mentioned and see how it can help your Amazon FBA business.

Thanks for watching and please make sure to watch the next videos with more Amazon FBA tips that will show up right about now.

7 Best Amazon Price Trackers For Amazon FBA Sellers - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In this video I want to go over the 7 best Amazon price trackers, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Now, before I hop into this video, if you are new to this channel you're going to want to subscribe as I talk about the best ways to make a full time income with Amazon FBA and always get straight to the point.

So please consider subscribing and turning on your post notifications if you like channels that don’t waste your valuable time, with that said let's get right into this video.

Now, as an Amazon seller you can benefit from price trackers especially while doing arbitrage. Even if you are a seller or purchaser, getting the best deals on Amazon is possible only if you keep a check on products’ prices. Amazon price trackers make it easier for you to track prices instead of refreshing pages every few seconds.

By using one of these price trackers you can make sure you stay on top of things and don’t run the risk of losing your ranking or the buy box for that matter.

So let’s get started with the first price tracker on my list which is CamelCamelCamel. This is probably one of the best-known price trackers, CamelCamelCamel rocks at notifying you about the best prices for the products you’re interested in.

It’ll show you Amazon price history charts for millions of Amazon products, but you can also create watches that’ll alert you when a product you’re watching has a price drop. But if you prefer to take more of a backseat approach, you can add it to your browser and monitor prices that way.

With support for multiple marketplaces, you can find the lowest prices on Amazon all over the world. And one of the best parts about CamelCamelCamel is that it’s free. You can register to get email alerts, or you can keep totally anonymous and watch for price alerts via an RSS feed on your newsreader.

The next one up is Keepa. Keepa is the other big name when it comes to the best Amazon price trackers you can use. If you’re not crazy about CamelCamelCamel’s barebones format, Keepa has a nice interface with shades of Google stylings to it.

Another reason to pick Keepa over CamelCamelCamel is you can use it in other countries where the latter isn’t available, like Brazil, India and Mexico, but not China.

You can sign up for Keepa for free with a nearly-full use of its features, interactive graphs, price increase alerts, and Keepa API are not available in the free version, or you can subscribe on a monthly basis to use all features with much higher caps on the number of products you want to price-track.

No matter which option you choose, you can add it to your browser and extensions are available for Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Microsoft Edge.

Moving on to number 3 which is Earny; This price tracker is more of a Swiss Army knife than the previous two. Along with price tracking and price drop alerts, Earny lets you know if price drops are even possible for a particular item you’re watching.

It’ll also scan your emails to look for previously-bought products so you can price-track items off of Amazon and on other online stores, like Walmart, Nike and more.

But one of the coolest things about Earny is you can get cashback on items you’ve already purchased if their price goes down. Yup, let’s look at that again. You’ll get a refund on the difference for something you’ve already bought if Earny sees its price has dropped.

You can now say goodbye to all those frustrating times when you’ve seen something go on sale just the next day after you’ve purchased it at full price.

Of course, this service isn’t entirely free, but the subscription costs are more than reasonable. It’s only $4.99 a month or $39.96 for the whole year. And if you get an alert for a price drop on something you’ve already bought, Earny takes a 25% fee and refunds you the rest.

You can download the app for both Android and iOS or add it to your Chrome browser, with the apps being free unless you need to access the premium features.

Waatcher is the fourth one I want to mention. You know how you can input a max bid price on eBay so your auto-bids never go over that amount? Waatcher has a similar concept in place by allowing you to input a max price for a product, which is the most you’re willing to pay for that product.

When Waatcher sees that your max price has been reached, it’ll automatically place an order for you so you don’t lose out before the price goes back up.

The obvious benefit is your holiday shopping can get a lot less involved and a lot more stress-free, but the downside is you may forget you’re tracking something until it arrives on your doorstep.

All you have to do is log in with your Amazon account so it can sync with it, and let the app do the rest.

Now, maybe you want an Amazon price tracker that has only the most essential bits of price tracking and not fancy add-ons you’ll never actually use. If that’s the case, take a deeper look at The Tracktor.

You have essentially three options: a search bar where you can type in a product name, ASIN or Amazon URL, movers and trending.

Personally, I love the Movers tab because it’s an easy way to get inspiration for when I have to get gifts for birthdays and holidays. I get pages and pages of results of products where their prices have dropped, which makes it super easy to knock off multiple items on a list in one go.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can select from a number of countries, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom and United States, to personalize your results. One of the best parts? It’s free to use.

Now, before we move on to price tracker number 6. As you can see, there are a lot of steps involved in building an Amazon business.

This training will build off of what I talk about inside my videos so I left a link for you in the description and if you're serious about selling on Amazon I encourage you to check it out!

Now, number 6 on our list is Slickdeals. Slickdeals is more than just a simple Amazon price tracker. Whether it’s tracking amazing offers with plenty of discounts or stellar deals or the hot coupons, it has got more ways to let you save more money.

One of the highlights of this site is a large community that provides ratings and reviews about products. So it becomes easier for you to determine whether a particular product will live up to your expectation.

To let you make an informed buying decision, Slickdeals offers detailed information about each product. For instance, you can check the total score of a deal and also find out the pros and cons suggested by users.

If you want to further enquire about a deal, you can also ask questions to experts. Notably, Slickdeals also provides a Chrome extension to let you monitor deals right from the web browser.

The last Amazon price tracker I want to cover is Penny Parrot. Touted to be a modern Amazon price tracker, Penny Parrot has checked off most essential boxes to be your one-stop platform.

What gives it an edge over many other alternatives is the extensive price dropping chart of every Amazon product. Using the chart, you can discover the best time to buy a product.

Penny Parrot features a cluttered-free interface and has a smart search to let you track down deals using a variety of filters. Besides, you can also search by Amazon URL and keep a track of the price change by setting custom alerts.

One of my favorite features of this Amazon tracker is the shortcut that makes it incredibly simple to track Amazon prices on your iPhone and iPad.

And that’s not all, Penny Parrot also providers browser extensions for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Mozilla Firefox to make it pretty convenient to track Amazon prices.

Bear in mind that it is only compatible with Amazon.com, which means you will be able to track product prices only in the US.

These price trackers can come in handy for sourcing in arbitrage. As an Amazon seller you can benefit from these tools to pick out items at the best prices. To keep your inventory at the best price possible to win Buy Box or get sales, make sure to use one of these Amazon price trackers.

Thanks for watching and please make sure to watch the next videos with more Amazon FBA tips that will show up right about now.

7 Amazon Hacks Every Amazon FBA Seller Should Know - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In this video I want to give you 7 Amazon hacks that will grow your Amazon FBA business and make you more money, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

Because Amazon is a saturated market, we as Amazon sellers should take the extra mile in order to stand out from the competition. Developing high-quality products is essential, but it takes more than that to gain traction, especially during launching. Fortunately, there are techniques you can use to attract even first-time customers.

So in this video, I am going to share with you seven advanced Amazon hacks to get your listings ranking higher to increase your revenue. So let’s get started.

The first trick is how to get the Amazon Best Seller badge with a category hack. Now, one of the most effective ways to increase sales is to set your listings apart visually. And one of the best ways to do that is to get the Amazon Best Seller badge.

Many consumers tend to trust products that have the orange Best Seller badge more compared to those that don’t. This badge will signal potential buyers to choose your products over the others, even if you price is slightly higher than your competitors. The Amazon Best Seller badge basically tells customers that your listing is the most purchased in a specific category.

Having the Best Seller badge makes your listing more attractive to customers. And yes, this badge is not easy to get, but there’s a neat little hack I discovered that will help you get it relatively easily.

This badge is awarded on a per-category basis, so changing your listings’ category will help with this. The trick is to use one that’s easy to rank for, in other words, one with the least amount of competition.

There’s a caveat to this however. You don’t want to rank for an irrelevant category because you will be reaching the wrong audience. Pick one that both suits your listing and has little competition.

When you switch to another category, you should wait for at least 15 minutes for the changes to take effect. Sometimes it takes a couple of hours. If it still doesn’t change the next day, you may then contact Amazon to have the category changed.

Hack number two is to get the Amazon’s Choice Badge. Now, there are a couple of things you need to take note of if you want to have this coveted badge for your listing.

The most important is that your product should be eligible for Amazon Prime. This is because one of the criteria in determining which products are worthy of the badge is fast shipping. Amazon makes sure that Amazon’s Choice listings would be readily available to buyers.

Just like the Best Seller badge, the Amazon’s Choice badge helps set your listings apart. Other criteria include the sales volume, ratings, and price. We can’t be sure how Amazon exactly determines the products they award the badge to, but over the years we’ve noticed that there are two things that make a big difference. Keeping your return rate low and having a high review rate.

The best way to ensure this is to have a high-quality product that customers would actually appreciate. This boils down to product design, the quality of material you use, and how to negotiate with your supplier to make sure you’re getting the best quality for the cheapest price

In addition, a lower return rate will signal the system that most of the people who bought your products were satisfied with them.

Hack number 3 is  to save on Amazon FBA Fees and Amazon Referral Fees. Aside from the cost of manufacturing, marketing and shipping, sellers should take into account Amazon’s various fees when setting product prices.

Two of the most common are the FBA fees and referral fees. So what are these and how do you reduce them? FBA fees are paid by those who avail of Amazon FBA for storing inventory and fulfilling orders. FBA fees are quite tricky to determine especially if you’re not aware of how Amazon computes them. To solve this problem, you should use an FBA fees calculator and take note of the following.

First, there’s a difference between the actual weight and shipping weight of your products. Amazon recently updated their FBA fulfillment fees, and you can check them out to know how much you will be paying.

Second, Amazon automatically adds to the weight of your product during computation, depending on whether it’s standard sized or oversized.

For standard, they add 0.25 pounds, and 1 pound for oversized items. After that, they round up the weight to the nearest pound, so if you’re not careful, what you thought was a standard-sized item might be categorized as oversized, making you more for FBA fees.

A good rule of thumb here is to not use Amazon FBA for products that don’t earn you that much profit or are too bulky for their prices. Remember that Amazon charges you for the space your inventory occupies, not by its value.

Another hack you can use is to always make sure you’re checking your listings regularly to avoid falling victim to stranded inventory. Having stranded inventory is one of the most wasteful mistakes of a seller. You’re basically paying Amazon to store your products without a way for them to be sold on the platform.

It might also be a good idea to sell products in bundles. In this way, instead of paying for 100 units worth of FBA fees, you’ll be paying for fewer. A bundle is considered as one unit, so you’ll save a lot of money on fees when you do this.

Referral fees, on the other hand, are fees you pay Amazon for allowing you to market and sell your products on their platform. This varies depending on the category of your product. For example, electronics have low referral fees, as low as 8%, while the referral fee for jewelry is at 20%. So when picking a niche and products, it’s good to take this into consideration.

The fourth hack is to use Amazon Business Reports to your advantage. You see, what gets measured gets managed. If you want to stay on top of your game you should know what goes on with your listings. How are customers reacting to your marketing strategies? How well does each product do?

Fortunately, Amazon sellers don’t have to sweat much trying to get these important data because they’re readily available at Seller Central. As with any other business, data is important to plan your next move regarding your Amazon listings.

You can get valuable data from the Amazon Business Reports such as conversion rates, traffic, and buy box percentage. Conversion rate is the percentage of page visitors who end up purchasing your products. For this, 15% or higher is good while 10% below is subpar.

Traffic on the other hand, is a metric used to determine which products are discovered by customers more frequently. Knowing this will tell you which products to concentrate your marketing on and which products need to be improved.

Finally, the buy box percentage tells you how frequently your offer is featured when a buyer visits your listing. Basically, it’s the percentage of page views where the Buy Box appeared on your page, allowing customers to add the product to their cart.

The buy box percentage is lowered when you don’t have the product in stock or if you’re selling a used item, in which case it appears on the Other Buying Options page.

Hack number 5 is to use the Amazon Early Reviewer Program in every product launch; No seller will say anything bad about the goods he’s selling. This is why reviews are important because buyers tend to trust those who have experienced the product themselves and who give their honest feedback.

This is why when you’re launching a new product, it’s important to get as many good reviews as you can early on. This will help the listing gain traction, resulting in more sales in the future.

The Amazon Early Reviewer Program helps new products rank better through honest reviews from randomly selected customers. There are a lot of black hat tactics that will help you do this, but I won’t advocate for those. Instead, I suggest you take advantage of the Amazon Early Reviewer Program.

For a reasonable fee, you can get as many as five honest reviews from randomly selected reviewers. In return, Amazon rewards them with gift cards for their authentic reviews.

Customers can identify these reviews by the orange “Early Reviewer Rewards” label, but this hardly matters since sellers can’t influence the reviewers anyway. What’s great about this program is that it allows sellers to get authentic reviews for their listings that are Amazon-compliant.

Moving on to hack number 6 which is to add keywords in foreign languages to your listing’s backend. Amazon has a worldwide reach, so if you’re limiting your listings to English keywords, you wouldn’t be maximizing their potential.

Include keywords in another language to help buyers who speak that language find your products easier. The best ones are Japanese, German, and Spanish. The first two have some of the best numbers when it comes to ecommerce while Spanish has a large number of speakers.

When using this technique however, you have to make sure that your translations are correct and that they are really the ones used by most buyers who may be interested in what you’re selling. To do this, you can hire a professional Amazon translator who knows how to properly choose keywords that make sense for marketing efforts.

The last Amazon hack on my list is to remeasure items to save big on Amazon Fees; Because of the number of items they receive daily, Amazon employees sometimes make mistakes in labeling your products. This can lead to losses especially when they mislabel your products’ dimensions and weight.

Make sure that your products are labeled correctly so you don’t have to pay for higher fees than what you’re supposed to. The bigger and heavier your items are, the higher your fees. This is why it’s important to always stay on top of your inventory.

Regularly check your products’ weight and dimensions as recorded by Amazon and if there are any discrepancies, have them change it to the correct ones. You need to do this as soon as possible because there’s a limit as to how long you can wait before you forfeit those fees.

Now, before we wrap this up. As you can see, there are a lot of steps involved in building an Amazon business.

This training will build off of what I talk about inside my videos so I left a link for you in the description and if you're serious about selling on Amazon I encourage you to check it out!

Now, as ecommerce continues to grow more popular and as the platform becomes more saturated, we as Amazon sellers need to up our game to stay on top of the competition. I am sure these advanced tips will help improve your numbers in the long run. They certainly helped my listings significantly.

How To Create An Amazon Storefront For Your FBA Business - Audio file

How To Design An Amazon Storefront For Your FBA Business - Video transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. In this video I would like to cover how to create an Amazon storefront for your business, so be sure to watch all the way through so you don't miss any of the important details as we do have a lot to cover.

If you are selling on Amazon and you want to stand out, among 2.2 million active Amazon sellers, opening an Amazon Storefront can help you differentiate your brand from your competitors, as well as build trust among customers.

In this video, I will walk you through how to enhance your brand on Amazon, how it is possible to gain visibility and, above all, how you can open an Amazon Storefront.

Now, what is an Amazon Storefront? An Amazon store or Amazon Storefront is a tool that you can find within the seller profile on Amazon Seller Central.

Through this tool, you have the possibility of creating a customizable multi-page catalogue. In it you will be able to show your products, prices, insert banners, calls to action and videos. It’s a mini-site attached to your Amazon profile that shows only your products. If you’re familiar with eBay stores, they’re very much like this.

Before we get into the details for creating a storefront let’s go over the pros and cons of having an Amazon Storefront first. The pros are that it’s a free tool, you will have your own URL which you can use as a landing page on external ads. It will increase visibility and give you access to more audiences.

Customers can access your store through Sponsored ads and display ads, you can monitor your performance and have upsells and cross-sells. Your storefront could also improve Amazon conversion rates when driving Amazon ads.

Of course there are also a few cons such as high-standard of competition, no measurable improvement in search ranking. The fact that Amazon is strict when it comes to approving your storefront and your products have to link to the Amazon catalogue

Furthermore your marketing options are very limited and there is no advantages outside of Amazon as  the customers remain Amazon’s customers with no way to communicate with them. You will also need to enroll in Brand Registry for each marketplace to be able to set up an Amazon Storefront and it’s less convenient than owning your own online store.

Amazon Storefront is available for anyone who is selling on Amazon, however, the brand must complete their Brand Registry, which requires applicants to have a registered trademark. Amazon will then review and approve your store, generally within 72 hours.

Once Amazon approves your application, they will send a verification code that you will need to enroll in the Amazon storefront program.

Enrolling in Amazon Storefront is completely free, as long as you are registered as a seller on Amazon, so you will have access to this tool. This is in contrast to the eBay stores which charge for their storefronts.

Now, let me explain step by step how to setup your Amazon storefront. For this tutorial I assume you already joined the Amazon Brand Registry program.

To get started, you’ll need to log into your Amazon Seller Central account, you’ll be able to access your Amazon store in the main navigation bar at the top of the homepage, under the tab “Stores”.

The first thing you’ll be asked to provide is the following information. Your brand display name, the brand name you choose will appear on your storefront, so your customers will be able to recognize you.

Next up is your brand logo, the logo image should be at least 400 px wide and tall. Then you will need to choose the product grid style, you can pick how your products will appear in your store, standard or tall.

In the next step, you have to include a page meta description for your store and you can also choose a pre-created template for your homepage, letting you customize your Amazon Store. You can select one of the following options, marquee, product highlight, product grid or blank.

You can preview the options that this design provides you. When you decide which template you would like to work with, hit “Create Page”.

In the next step, you can create multiple pages within your Amazon Store to activate a navigation feature on your homepage. This makes it easy for shoppers to browse within your catalogue and see what products your brand offers. You can create different pages within the navigation bar and also create a drop menu within each page.

This tool allows you to add as many tiles as you want to your brand’s store. Plus a Bestseller Slider that automatically presents your best-selling products and a Recommended Products slider that auto-populates based on previous buyer searches.

Additionally, you can customize these tiles with products, text, videos or images. You can choose what type of tile you want once you click on “Add tile”.

Now you can complete your Amazon Store by adding your product listings. Select the tag “product” when clicking on a tile and search for your product by keyword. Once you select the products you want to be listed, they’ll show up in the tile slot. The tile will display your product image and price.

As I mentioned before, you can add pages to your homepage. If you want to include pages in your Amazon Store you first need to navigate to the Store builder main menu and then click on “add page” from the left-hand menu. Although you can have a pageless store and preserve only the homepage with your desired products and features.

Each additional page will also be customizable; therefore, you can choose to feature all of your products and related content.

Now you’ve finished creating your Amazon Store it’s time to publish it. Select “Submit for publishing” from the navigation bar.  Your Amazon Storefront must pass a manual approval process before being published which usually happens within 72 hours. You can always read Amazon’s Content Acceptance Policy to make sure that your Storefront will be approved.

As first impressions matter. Let’s go over some examples of Amazon Storefronts that use different templates and content to stand out. Anker is a great example of a brand understanding its audience.

Throughout the page’s design, their products take center stage. With many different types of products, Anker places its bestsellers at the very top of its page on the hero image. Anker’s Amazon Storefront design keeps charging and connects the customer’s experiences.

Another one is the Amazon Basics storefront. Amazon Basics keeps a simple character on its Amazon storefront, with a basic design and colors. The navigation bar is full of categories and their homepage shows its customers their wide range of products.

Pet Cube also has a very nice design. Just by seeing the homepage full of flurry faces showing up you will already fall in love. Aside from the cute pets, the Pet Cube storefront provides useful images along with a description of its products, making the customer understand what they are going to buy. This Amazon Store is an example of an informative and entertaining store.

The right colors for your storefront can set you apart from the crowd. Kate Spade Amazon Storefront is a good example that effectively uses a bright accent color like pink leading the customer to better connect with the brand. In addition to this, it offers highly organized and visual design for the consumer experience.

Now, you don’t need to be a kid to know that you’re not going to take your eyes off from this Amazon storefront. The Lego Amazon Storefront stands out through product images, colors and videos, which is also a great technique to connect to customers with your content.

Now, let’s talk about how to drive traffic to your Amazon Storefront. Having an Amazon Storefront will allow you also to drive traffic while browsing on Amazon and off Amazon. There are different ways you can do this to drive traffic back to your Amazon Storefront.

In Amazon you can drive traffic if a customer clicks on a Sponsored Brand ad and if a customer clicks on a brand byline by the product details.

Off Amazon: you can drive traffic to your storefront with display advertisement campaigns, social media campaigns or email marketing campaigns.

Now, if you want to measure the performance of your Storefront there is an insight section that will provide you with a detailed analytics report to determine how your store is performing.

Amazon’s Storefront Insights dashboard provides every seller all the information about your sales, including how much money you generate in the period of time specified, an estimate of units purchased by store visitors, a total of orders, the average sales per visitor and the average units per order.

Also, you can see the total amount of users that viewed your store in a day or if you prefer you also can see the users that have visited your page in a specific period of time.

Finally, Amazon provides a tag to measure where your sales are coming from based on Amazon Organic Traffic, Amazon Sponsored Brands or other sources.

Most business owners that drive traffic to their online stores don’t look at their Amazon Storefront analytics. Creating source tags can help you to track marketing promotions in your Amazon store.

Also, you have the possibility of creating custom source tags that will help you to drive traffic to your Amazon store and measure the success of the traffic and start tracking how many customers clicked these links.

For example, if you want to drive the traffic from your social media campaign to your Amazon Store, the first step is creating a source tag, just got to insights, sources and create source tag.

Once you give this tag a name, Amazon will generate a special link that you can use for your social media, which allows you to see the traffic that this source is driving.

Now, before we wrap this up. As you can see, there are a lot of steps involved in building an Amazon business. And I wouldn't recommend piecing together everything by simply watching videos on YouTube. This is why I suggest investing your time in a great free training that can guide you through this process.

Many ecommerce entrepreneurs have dreamed about running a super successful online business, and Amazon is one of the top ecommerce platforms chosen to fulfil those dreams.

The trouble is, running a successful online business can appear straightforward on paper, but most who take this route end up throwing in the towel because they simply underestimate the amount of effort and commitment required.

There’s product research to be done, there’s sourcing, then negotiating, listings to be created, customers to take care of and of course the fulfilment process.

Commonly, it’s the sourcing part of the process that sorts the wheat from the chaff! Because finding and dealing with suppliers, often internationally, can be challenging and frustrating.

This is not intended to deter you from starting an ecommerce business of any type. Sourcing stock from wholesale suppliers at low prices and then reselling for a profit is a fantastic opportunity for you to build a really profitable online business. But, you don’t necessarily have to build that business in the traditional way.

Now, wouldn’t it be great if there were an easier way to buy products to resell for a profit, without the need to deal with international suppliers or negotiate rock-bottom unit prices? Well, there is! And it’s called retail arbitrage.

Retail arbitrage is simply the method of buying low and selling high. But instead of buying your stock from specific wholesalers or trade suppliers, stock is purchased from actual brick and mortar retail stores.

At stores such as Target or Walmart, sellers can source great products on offer or at clearance prices. You then sell those goods online, typically on eBay or Amazon, at a higher price and pocket the profit!

Sounds a bit cheeky, doesn’t it? Well, it is pretty brazen, but it’s all perfectly legal. In fact, it has been known for those in the retail arbitrage game to purchase products from retail stores at full price and then sell them for over the odds on Amazon!

But why would buyers purchase a product for more than its retail price? The main reason is that online shoppers are often impatient. They want their goods right now, and so it’s easy for them to order online and get products delivered the next day rather than having to go to the shops.

What’s more, impatient buyers will pay extra for this convenience. So, it’s an opportunity to make some money by reselling products that are already retailing well in stores.

If you are new to retail arbitrage, it’s best to start with Amazon as your selling platform. Later on, when you become well practiced at spotting opportunities, and your inventory grows, you can also incorporate your retail arbitrage strategy with Amazon’s fulfilment service, FBA.

So how does retail arbitrage work on Amazon? The best way to explain is with an example. Imagine you visit your local Target store, and you see they have watches on clearance for $25. You would research that exact product to see if it’s listed on Amazon and how much it’s listed for.

So, let’s imagine the very same watch is selling for $65 on Amazon. You would purchase from Target at $25 and then immediately list it on Amazon for $65.

Once sold, the difference minus your selling fees is yours. That’s your profit. So, you could quite easily make a $20 profit on your initial investment. And that’s with just one item. You could have a whole line of products in your inventory.

You’ll need to carefully compare prices before you purchase any product that you intend to resell using the retail arbitrage strategy. You can do this by logging in to Amazon while you are in store and comparing prices.

Alternatively, to see exactly how much profit you’ll make after shipping and selling fees, Amazon has a brilliant free app which will give you all this information. It’s called Amazon Seller and is available to download from the app store.

The app lets you scan products to see prices, fees, profits and other useful information including the number of sellers selling the product, it’s best seller rank and which category it’s placed in. All of these bits of information are vital for you so that you’re not relying on guesswork.

You might be thinking that this all sounds a little bit too easy and so surely everyone is at it? Actually, they are not because, like anything, it all sounds fabulous in theory, but in practice, the majority of people who want to try, don’t.

The main reason for this is that just like any online business, you will need to put in some effort travelling around to uncover the right products. You’ll need to visit stores and check prices, but don’t forget, this totally cuts out the need to deal with suppliers, something that you might be nervous or worried about.

Of course, you will also be able to start your Amazon retail arbitrage business with a smaller investment rather than needing hundreds of pounds to purchase wholesale quantities of products. It’s easy to test one or two products initially to get into the swing of it and expand later. The products are all out there, but the right strategy and to some extent, the right mindset is required.

Now, you may be wondering why retail stores don’t sell their clearance products online rather than running the risk of retail arbitragers making money off the back of their products.

The reason retail stores sell off their stock is to make room for more stock which is to be sold at full price! So, with limited space, retail stores place higher importance on getting new stock in that has the potential to make more profit than the sale of their clearance stock.

Remember, retailers would still need to store the clearance stock as well as the new stock if they decided to sell it online. Most just don’t have the room for extra inventory, nor want it hanging around.

So, while it might seem to be a strange strategy for retailers as they are knowingly missing out on revenue, the fact is they will actually be making more money from their new stock. And this is good news for you and your retail arbitrage business.

Now, if you want to give retail arbitrage a go here’s how to get started with retail arbitrage on Amazon. First, register for a seller account on Amazon. This is super simple and will take you about 10 minutes to complete the basics.

Next, download the Amazon Seller App from the app store or use the Jungle Scout chrome extension. You must have an Amazon account set up to be able to access the app, so make sure you have completed step one before moving on.

Third is to make a list of potential retail stores to visit. If you spot a clearance section while you’re out and about, always head on over and nose around as you never know what you might find. Look for yellow stickered deals in supermarkets. These are products that might have damaged packaging or broken seals and are perfect retail arbitrage items.

You can also use a website called Brickseek to check in store deals as well as the stock available at stores in your area.

Number 4 is to head over to the clearance section. This is where you should start your retail arbitrage product search. Don’t forget that some stores won’t have specific clearance sections and you may have to look a little harder for the best deals throughout the store.

Get to know the clearance routine in each store. Most stores will discount once and then cut further. Other stores will always mark their clearance products up at a particular time or on a specific day. If you learn the schedule, you will have an immediate advantage and can swoop on deals immediately.

While you could go into a store or look around online for products that might be profitable to resell on Amazon, you could also do some research and think ahead for certain types of products you’d like to find.

One thing to consider is seasonality. Try to figure out what products are currently or soon-to-be trending or products that sell more during a certain time of year.

For example, toys during the holiday season or inflatable pools or floats during the summer are extremely popular and profitable. Since the demand is so high during those times, supply tends to diminish very quickly in retail stores, which translates into an increased selling price online.

Recently, you could purchase an inflatable pool at Walmart for $20 and resell it on Amazon for $80.

If you stay on top of trends and current events like these, you will be on your way to having a profitable Amazon reselling business.

Has there ever been a product that you absolutely loved but then for whatever reason, the brand decided to discontinue it? We’ve all been there, and we know we’d pay a premium to get those products back. Some consumers are willing to pay extraordinary amounts of money for products that are seemingly impossible to find.

You may be thinking, if a product is discontinued, then how can I still find it in store? Some discontinued products are still circulating in the market and will randomly pop up in retail stores, discount stores, grocery stores, etc. It is just up to you to be in the right place at the right time.

Now, the next step is to use your Amazon Seller App to scan any potential products. Doing this will ensure you make an informed decision, and you’ll be able to work out, in advance, what your profit will be. All you need to do is scan the product barcode and then check two crucial details on the app.

The first is to check you are eligible to sell the product on Amazon which is very important. The second is to check the sales rank of the product as this will tell you the popularity of the item. If the number is low, it’s a fast seller.

You must pay attention to the sales rank as this is your most significant indication as to whether a product is suitable for retail arbitrage on Amazon or not. Bear in mind that a sales rank depends on the number of products in the category overall, so if you have a category with a high number of products listed, while the sales rank may appear low, the product may still be viable.

Also, check the profitability of the potential product using the Seller App. All you need to do is enter the price of the product, and a rough shipping cost and then the app will calculate the profit.

Make sure the net profit shown is higher than your minimum profit threshold of 5 to $10. If you are a newbie to Amazon retail arbitrage, don’t purchase more than five of any product to start with to keep your risk low. You can buy more as you become well practiced with the strategy.

Step number 7 is to list your products for sale on Amazon. This is the exciting part of the process! When you list your products, you’ll want to make sure they sell, so you must make sure your title contains all the relevant keywords. Bullet points within your product description are also critical so think carefully about the information you will add to your Amazon listing.

You will also need to ship the products to your customers. You can do this yourself although once you have increased your inventory, you should consider utilizing Amazon’s fulfilment service, FBA.

Now, before we move on. If you are new to Amazon FBA I suggest investing your time in a great free training that can guide you through this process.

I recommend this training because this is the best FBA training on the market and one that I have personally gone through. They walk you through every aspect of what it takes to start, grow and scale your Amazon business.

This training will build off of what I talk about inside my videos so I left a link for you in the description and if you're serious about selling on Amazon I encourage you to check it out!

Now, there is no perfect product that will work for retail arbitrage over another product. It’s critical though that you don’t limit yourself to one specific type of item or category as you never know what kinds of products may be available or become viable.

The key to success in a reselling business is to constantly be hustling and looking for new products. If you enjoy the hustle and going from store to store, then retail arbitrage may be the right business model for you.

Thanks for watching and please make sure to watch the next videos with more Amazon FBA tips that will show up right about now.
